IRL: Diets, motivation and a break in exercise

Welp. I broke it just a couple days ago. T_T Sorry Blogiates...video games are just too good! Today I decided to work on diet. Diet diet diet. And by diet I don't mean actually skimping on meals, but rather a change in meals. Today I had a red and orange bell pepper, broccoli, mushroom and onion stirfry...with red pepper flakes! It was really good actually...I liked it. And from what everyone says, I can have as many vegetables as I please and not worry too much about all those carbs. I like that part of the diet. :>

Other than that, I'm taking advice from JennIm and photographing my food to make sure I'm looking at it with guilt. Yes. Guilt. I'm gonna guilt myself into eating right!

Lastly, I think I realized something that I need to remind myself every day about...this isn't for anyone. I'm not dieting so Oppa will love me more. Oppa already loves me the way I am. I always say to him "Do you hate me?". And by that I should finish it with my real feelings..."Do you hate my body? My looks? My physical presentation? Do I embarrass you? Shame you? I'm sorry..." because that's how I feel when it comes to people who love me. They lie to me and say they're okay with how I look, but inside they think I'm ugly and fat and they don't wanna to be seen with me.

But ya know...Oppa isn't that way. He never has treated me different. So I shouldn't worry. What I should be doing is looking in the mirror and saying that. "Do you hate you? Your looks? Your physical presentation? Do you embarrass yourself? Shame yourself? You're sorry..."

And yes, I am sorry. But being sorry doesn't do anything. Feeling sorry for myself doesn't help the situation at all. With words must come action, let they just be empty. I'm sad I made myself this way, but at the same time, I think that's just what is me. I'm a weak person...but it doesn't mean I can't become someone who is strong. I have to just believe in myself. Be happy with who I am...though unhappy about what I am. But who I am can change what I am. It just takes a little effort and a different mindset.

IRL: Not yet gone

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of posts. I still remember this blog, don't worry! I'm also still playing Pokemon too, just atm finals are killing me. I have so much to do!

But I'm not stressing. Why is because I think I have my life in order. These days have been very interesting. I've got plenty of work to do for Logic. And honestly, that's kind of one of my favorite things to do now. It's so interesting how everything works together. It's just a matter of me doing the work correctly.

Anyway, I started blogiates again today and I really hope I stick with it. It's making me feel pretty good. My body is warm, I've been having breakfast and eating and drinking right. I'm drinking tea again!! :> Listening to good music too!

Exercise is really amazing. It makes me feel like I'm ready to do something. I feel responsible and prepared. I feel ready to take the workload. Granted, it kinda hurts...x_x But ya know what...? I'll do it all one step at a time. Isn't it a little surprising? Exercise is kinda making me feel...how can I say it...relaxed. I feel like I can take on the work load, just a little at a time and I don't really have to stress that badly.

Just work with what you can and the next day is new and you can start working hard again! I have to remind myself to put some leisure time in the middle and not over work myself.

I have to start looking at my body like a temple. I don't want to look at my face and say, "aw, I'm cute. But my body...I want to ignore it". That's just running away. I have to look at what I am, say "I want to change. Today. Why am I running away from something that feels great! And is great FOR me too!". I really, honestly hope this mentality keeps with me all the time. New year resolution...keep up the good work! Don't slack! Be good to yourself as you are to others.

Pokemon X: Update 8

Wooooo a lot of things have happened. First of all, I ended up getting all those Pokemon I wanted from the last post, which is a LOT. I hatched a couple of eggs here ad there, but LOTS of evolutions in this update. Why? Because I'm abusing the HELL out of Battle Chateau. Leveling everywhere. Currently, my main team is around level 50 or so. They're doing awesome atm. I went through the ice cave, where I fought Team Flare and got LOTS of Ice Pokemon. So here ya are! Pokemon Update 6: Lost Hotel

I had this previously posted on the last update, but since it was SOOO big, I decided to dedicate it to its own page. Yes, I managed to get all (but Seviper) the Pokemon I wanted last post, which means this post is pretty big.

Let's start with the story though. Where am I and what happened since last time? Well, I managed to beat Valerie, the leader of the Fairy-type town and got the Fairy badge, my sixth badge in. I'm already managed to get to the new town (a snowy looking one, so it looks like an Ice based gym!!), but hit the Lost Hotel instead of going through all the way. Rumors are that there are trash cans that rattle and Pokemon or items may be in there every day. I have to check every day, since it seems that the legendary Rotom is in them every Tuesday. Gotta remember! Tuesday! Rotom! Lost Hotel! Trash cans! Right! ...Why Tuesdays...?

Pokemon: Update 5

Again, sorry for not posting for a while. Honestly I've only been playing Pokemon when I 1) eat or 2) take a small break or else I'd go nuts from studying. But here's my progress...story-wise, I just finished beating Lumiose City's gym leader, getting my 5th badge. I'm supposed to go going to the haunted house currently, but am catching Pokemon that I've missed from this point. There are quite a few, including those I didn't get because I didn't have surf or a fishing rod. I'm checking up with mattwritesstuff to make sure I get every Pokemon in every region. Honestly, although he's not someone big like Marriland, his guides are much more informative and generally more accurate. Marriland had me searching for hours for a nonexistent Pokemon for my version before and I didn't exactly like doing that, so I moved to Matt.

Granted, there are some Pokemon that I still can't catch because my fishing rod isn't good enough (not super yet, at good), but I'm trying to get the ones that I can with what I have.

IRL: Test cramming

Sorry, my posts haven't been coming in as much as they should, since tests have showed up and I've had to cram all the material. Starting today, though, the tests have stopped for now, even if I have to keep up with assignments and readings, as usual. After this, I'll post on Pokemon.

Halloween is just two days away and I've got nothing to wear...@.@ I wanna dress up, but I dunno...with the lack of monies, it's really hard to get into that. :< Oh well.

Truffles has been doing really well recently. We just gave her a bath yesterday and she's now smelling good and extra fluffy! :> I'm so happy for her. I'm just happy that she's happy.

IRL: Progress with Truffles!

Woohoo, Truffles is definitely feeling a lot more calm and much happier yesterday and today. Yesterday she only cried at the door once, in the morning, but other than that she was okay. She enjoys her walks and finally, FINALLY decided to use Hippo as a bed next to my computer! She loves Hippo, aw...<3

She's also my study buddy and lays near me while I doing homework and studying. She's finally exploring around the house happily! She walked all over the place and sniffed to her hearts content. The cats have also gotten used to her and aren't aggressive. She eats now, some cat food and also the wet food. I have to ask the pet store if it's okay that she eats it. I don't want her to get sick.

Yesterday night she attempted to play with me. We played "Mommy is a monster and is chasing me, run awaaaayyyy, but if she's running CHASE!" and she had a lot of fun. She's a lot more calm and I'm so happy for that. The previous owners haven't spoken to me yet, but...I'm really planning on keeping her. She's never had any accidents, we take her for walks three times a day (at least!) and I think in her head she's thinking "Ya know what...? It's not so bad over here afterall".

IRL: A new doggy!

I have no pictures atm, but the new doggy I got's name is Truffles. She used to be the dog of a family, but unfortunately, because of financial reasons, they can no longer keep her. I'm sad for her because she really misses her family. She cries at the door a lot and she never wants to take off her collar, most likely because it smells like her previous family and reminds her of them. She's a VERY smart dog...poodles are the second smartest dogs in the world!

She's a poodle, told she was a mix, but she looks pure poodle to me. She's smart as I said, and very finicky with her food. She like Cesar's wet doggy food actually! And...gourmet kitty food...x_x She knows her name. She's 5 years old (I told my parents 4 years, just to make them feel better about her age!). She loves sleeping with people and doesn't like being crated (we don't even have one for her). We bought a brush for her, but haven't used it yet. She gets lonely easily, probably because she's afraid of being abandoned again.

Oppa really likes her and so do I. I hope she gets used to us. We give her lots of love and care and attention and so far she really likes us...but I don't think she likes her situation. I don't think she likes being separated from her family that she's been with for 5 years. I'm happy that she came into our care though and I'm happy to share her with her old family. I told them they are welcome to visit her whenever they'd like and I'm 100% sure she'll be so happy to see them.

Hey there again! So here we go, new happenings where I am currently in the game. Storywise, I just finished Korrina, third gym, Fighting-type and also finished at the Tower of Mastery. I have access of Mega evolutions, woohoo. I was given a Lucario, but I like mine (Alyss) better, considering I caught her wayyyy back in the first routes. I named the other one "Faker senpai" though. :> Trying to level Alyss to get up there with my other main team, which is doing awesome so far.

Also note, for Flabebe, the colors of the petals change depending on what wild flower grass you're running through. So red flowered grass most likely you'll get red, yellow for yellow. So today, I got up at 7 to walk to the Gamestop like 2 blocks from my apartment for Pokemon X and Y's release. And I am so playing it right now. Just to tell everyone my current situation:

IRL: Diets and Getting Motivated

Going on a new diet recently. I feel like I've gained like...20 pounds since moving into the apartment. I'm totally scared to jump on the scale. Hell, I'm scared to go see people I've met before, in fear that they'll be like "Whoa you gained some weight there missy". Waaah. I'm probably imagining it, I wanna convince myself...there were plenty of times when I felt like this and I totally didn't gain anything. In fact, at some time I lost weight. Bodies are weird...

Anyway. new diet is mainly vegetables and the like. I'm cutting out rice and pasta...and am thinking of replacing it with something else like fruit. It's pretty much eating salads mostly, though I've run out of dressing, carrots, tomatoes, seaweed salad, chicken salad (chicken, mayo base, grapes, with some nuts)...I'm planning on starting today! Woohoo, hopefully this'll stick around. I'm not cutting out meats, but I am requiring myself to eat leaner meats such as chicken and fish. Maybe I'll make some salmon tonight. Salmon salad maybe. With basil pesto.

I hate exercise. I'm going to skip this section.

I beat Tetris again today! For the DS. Woo.

Motivation. Shit. My motivation has been absolute shit. I haven't done work in a while because I just feel way too unhappy, to be honest. I look at the work, read the first two sentences and feel so bored or uninterested. I don't wanna do much of anything but maybe...crochet or knit, or write or play FB games or games in general and...argh. I just haven't been feeling my 100%. Maybe not even my 50%. I'm supposed to get a job too, but I'm not sure how much I'll be into it. I don't wanna waste my money for this semester. I have to get good grades...just...how am I supposed to boost myself up there..??

I've actually been really sad since the dog thing fell through...I'm really sad. I miss canines...they're my friends, they're my silly, goofy sides of happiness, really. I...really miss a dog. Having one, touching one, waking up with one. I think I'm scared of waking up just alone. Dogs make me feel secure and happy. They make me feel satisfied and happy with myself overall. It's so sad I'm so dependent, but this is how I am...this is how it has been since I've grown up with them. It's just something I have to accept...being buried in doggies and puppies. Not like I'm complaining.

ROLEPLAY: My characters and my plans for them

As mentioned in the previous post, I want to address my plans for my previous characters. I want to tell you now that not many will survive this 'cut'...there will be a lot of 'maybe's. I'll begin by explaining the three categories I will be placing them in:

Definitely

Means they're gonna come back and they'll always be in my heart, even if I don't put them in an active forum yet. These are characters I will not throw away because of various reasons...whether they're just very well developed characters, they've had much interaction with other people's characters and character development or that I just really like their concept.

Ehhhhhhhhh...

...Just means maybe. A character under this category may have a very interesting concept behind them which makes me want to keep them but they either have not developed enough at all to be worthwhile or I do not really see a future with them. Basically, I see that their future is very limited, therefore I am unsure whether I want to keep them. Note: I may make these types of characters has placeholders. For example, someone who is important as a plot device, but is unneeded as a full character. What makes a character worthwhile, imo, is one that I find being able to trudge through exams and trials...aka, having some kind of vivid endgame. Without it, I am not sure whether or not I would keep them.

Nope, nope, nope.

Just a character I don't find a future. They might have not spoken to many people or made themselves much of a name anyway, so there's no point in continuing with them. For me, I feel like having a large amount of characters takes away from giving love and attention to characters that need it. With such a large roster, it's very possible for your strongest character to not be as strong as someone to started at the same time as you but only owns one or two characters. Focus is a good thing. However, this does not mean that I plan on never resurrecting this character...it means if the character fits the bill, then it has a very slim chance of being revived. If they are a character's brother or sister, they either don't have a large part in their life and can be roleplayed as an NPC, or they work as a more detailed placeholder for that title.

ROLEPLAY: Escellsia and new forums that are available

Hey everybody,

So here is the information I have on the RP forums that are both dead and alive and well currently. Most of my old RP mates will probably find this section the most interesting.

Escellsia: dead
Most of everyone already knows this, but because of population issues and administration issues with keeping up with the site, escellsia.com has officially gone down months ago. Hopefully everyone has gathered all the information they needed on their characters (I never did, unfortunately, but I'll talk about that later). If you have any need for information, I don't think I can help you...my information isn't linked onto the server provider, so I can't 'revive' any of that info back up. I think the best person to talk to would be Harrison for that, but I don't know what's the chances of you getting in touch with him about the subject or if he'd be willing to talk about it. If there are any questions about this, comment and I'll try to answer you to the best of my ability.

Seinvocc (ex-sister site): dying/dead
I think most people remember that this was our sister site which shared our "escellsia" url name. It had picked up slowly in popularity, but then did a dramatic plunge when suddenly it was no longer fun. The site has apparently broken up some of his friendships, drama, blah. So currently, from what I gather, literally the only person who is there is Caleb who is waiting for members to either join or come back. From a few talks with people, it seems like there was a lot of issues with the way the site wanted characters to be, bias character creation and just generally how the site was run. Also, character 'adoption' center...which in my book isn't cool at all and feels like someone's creative work is being given away...without their permission, since it's only done if the character is 'idle' on the site.

Vescrutia: dying
I say dying not because there are not people there, but because the system now is apparently, from what I hear, is failing them. A hope for a revamp of the system is apparently coming up, now accepting completely new characters that have no ties to references, oh original! Sorry, my sarcasm was leaking. I don't hate them, don't get me wrong, but Escellsia kind of did that, oh I dunno, since it was first created, but for some reason it was laughed at for such an idea. It's kinda ironic how these things work...anyway, only a handful of admins are alive and most of the people still there either 1. have a very settled character who is already involved in the plot or 2. are fairly new and trying to make a name for themselves. Caleb's (old?) best friend currently roleplays there, not Seinvocc.

Ardermina Online: on/off
AO is based off of the anime Sword Art Online, a show revolving around virtual reality RPG games and is being maintained by friends Courtney and CJ. I found the anime one of the best of 2012 with excellent animation and a solid (first arc) plot. So AO was up my alley. It has great character creation options, including making offline and online characters. There are shops, smiths, cities, quests, an inventory to keep an eye on, etc. Recently, there have been little activity there, but still trickles in. I have a feeling that activity will eventually just pick up out of no where, so keep this site in your sights.

Elestia/Ecclasia: dying
Elestia is a Pokemon RP forum headed by an old friend, Stefanos. It's pretty well made, all of the areas have been well thought-out and created. RP there is whimsical, but be warned...there's a little bit more realism to the RP than just plain fantasy. People are incapable of just 'showing up' places conveniently. Elestia is one of the very few RP forums which requires players to plan travel, including food, a place to stay, etc. Time is also a factor in the forums and a certain amount of (real) time will have to elapse in order for some things to occur, i.e: building a catapult may take a few hours... However, despite this awesome design, there doesn't seem to be a lot of people in the actual forums roleplaying. Unlike AO, I am a little unsure whether or not traffic will pick up for Elestia, but I'm hoping it will surprise me.

Kwandrivia: alive
A site modeled after the former Escellsia, this takes nearly all the plans we had before and places them into Kwandrivia.  It is headed by Bill at the moment. Many of the same aspects have been added, as well as the exact same system we proposed for the old Escellia. New aspects have been added on top of the old ones as well, opening up new options, new races and new fighting styles. Pokemon is still available and a Pokemon gym is in most major regions.The population there is small...maybe 4-5 people at best, including myself. Character creation is standard and is quite lenient. I honestly want to have fun there...that's all that really matters to me and so far it seems that way.

Please feel free to explore any of these pages...just look them up on google. They're all pretty unique names and I'm sure you'll find them.

It's been a looong time.

Hello everyone. It certainly has been quite a while, hasn't it? I'd love to revive this blog some time soon to address a few things in my life and in the lives of a lot of other people who matter to me. I want to talk about a lot of things other than Escellsia (which I will update you on in the next post).

If I were to revamp this blog again, it would have the following:

• Current roleplay antics. Perhaps information about my characters that you didn't know or said forthright in the forum.
• Reviews, thoughts and feelings on games I have played recently.
• At times, my own personal relationships and living situations...they've changed so far.
• As usual, I will label all of my posts with a title that will show what the post will be about BEFORE you read it, then you can sift through what is junk and what is not.
• Crafts I made, am making or am planning on making in the near future.
• And as we had done before, NEWS on technology or all kinds of stuff. I want to start putting together a group of people who have are both opinionated but also open-minded and willing to see that another person's view isn't just outrightly wrong. It's discussion. I want to bring a group who is comfortable with each other enough to do something like that.

So there you go. I want to do this again. I don't know how many people are willing to answer to this call. Even if there aren't many people who will, I'll be doing it regardless. Looking back at how hard I tried and how much I liked it kind of makes me smile. :>
